Like all trims of the 2023 Ford Ranger, the base Ranger comes standard with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with a ten-speed automatic transmission that can drive on rear or all four wheels. As for features, the XL is very well equipped as it comes with 18-inch steel wheels, a manually locking tailgate, air conditioning, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There is also a ton of tech here as the XL is standard with a Wi-Fi hotspot, a four-speaker sound system, one USB port, and forward collision mitigation. But wait, that's not all! You can also opt for the 101A package, which comes standard with cruise control, power mirrors, keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, a larger central screen display, and a Sync 3 infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. 

Up next is the XLT, which not only comes with all of the features of the XL but also adds 17-inch alloy wheels and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Like the XL, the XLT also has several available packages, so you can customize your Ranger however you want. There is the 301A package which comes with rear parking sensors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a 110-volt power outlet, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and your choice of a Sport, Chrome, or Black exterior appearance package. You can also opt for the 302A package with remote ignition, power-folding, heated mirrors, a manual-sliding rear window, and power-adjustable and heated front seats. Finally, the Technology package provides you with front parking sensors, a navigation system, and adaptive cruise control. 

The last trim that the Ranger has to offer is the Lariat trim which is standard with LED headlights and leather upholstery. You can also get the 501A package with automatic wipers, a digital information display in the gauge cluster, a 10-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and a universal garage door opener.
