Find the Perfect EV for You at Fullerton Ford

Charging your electric vehicle has been made easy between at-home charging and Ford giving you access to the BlueOval Charge Network. You're never too far from a power source for your Ford all-electric vehicle. Most electric car drivers primarily charge in the comfort of their own homes. Although, there have been an increasing amount of workplace and public chargers in communities nationwide. Fullerton Ford is here to give you the information you need to charge your electric vehicle.

Ford Mobile Charger

With Ford, you have the ability to use your available Ford mobile charger with any 240V or 120V wall outlet for a reliable charge. The 120V is a simple charging system that can be plugged into a standard home or garage 120V wall outlet. The available 240V can be plugged into any 240V wall outlet. To make sure that your Ford mobile charger is properly connected you must be sure that when plugging in the Ford Mobile Charger the connector is flush. You will hear a click when it is fully inserted and if your charger is not flush you may see a yellow light. Also, if your charger isn't fully and properly plugged in your vehicle will not charge.

Ford Connected Charging Station

You have the ability to order an at-home Ford Connected Charge Station to maximize your home charging. You can make sure your EV is ready to go and charged as quickly as possible from the comfort of your own home. If you are planning to order or already own a 240V/48-amp hardwired Ford Connected Charge Station. If you visit Qmerit you can find a licensed installation expert. It is best to have a  trained, licensed electrician install your unit.

FordPass App

With the FordPass app, you can schedule and monitor your all-electric vehicle's charging. Scheduled charging is perfect for when you just want to get up and go. It is also recommended because it maximizes your battery range by using energy from your charger. With scheduled charging, you can also accomplish your in-cabin comfort settings before hitting the road. To view or edit your charge setting in the FordPass app you can start by pressing the vehicle icon on the lower left side of the app. Then you can press Manage EV and continue on to click on Manage Charging. Lastly, you click on Charge Setting and now you can create and control your electric vehicle's charging schedule.
