2020 Ford Edge Power & Handling

The main powering force behind the Ford Edge is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that makes 250 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. The engine comes with a fuel-saving stop/start feature that shuts off the engine in situations where it would otherwise idle. Front-wheel-drive comes standard, but all-wheel drive is optional. The Edge ST kicks things up a notch with a 2.7-liter V6 that pumps out 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque with all-wheel-drive standard. Both engines connect to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the Ford Edge can haul up to 3,500 pounds.

2020 Honda CR-V Power & Handling

As of now, the Honda CR-V has only one engine, and its a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that brings 190 horsepower and 179 lb-ft of torque, which connects to a continuously variable automatic transmission. A Sport mode is available for added responsiveness, and the CR-V is available in both front and all-wheel drive. Towing for the CR-V is limited as it can only haul 1,500 pounds, which is significantly less than the Ford Edge. A 2.0-liter hybrid model is expected later in the model year.

2020 Ford Edge Features & Design

Those who are in the market for a Ford Edge are going to be pleased with its long list of comprehensive features. Coming standard is Wi-Fi for up to 10 devices, satellite radio, rain-sensing wipers, remote start/lock/unlock, and keyless entry/ignition. Also included on all trims is Ford Co-Pilot 360 and its array of drivers safety aids, including forward-collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, and automatic high beams. Higher-trims adds even more convenience features, including the Sync 3 infotainment system, hands-free tailgate operation, leather upholstery, and 19-inch alloy wheels. There is also a ton of options available for the Edge. Each trim can be outfitted with a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment setup. The SEL trim is available with a panoramic glass roof, a 110-volt power outlet, heated front seats/steering wheel, and a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. Titanium versions have optional heated rear seats and parking assistance, and the ST is eligible for heated/cooled rear seats and upgraded brakes.

2020 Honda CR-V Features & Design

Four trim levels are available for the Honda CR-V, and there are some exciting features to be found. The base LX comes with Honda Sensing, single-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, 6-way manual-adjust driver’s seat, and cruise control. You also get a 5-inch color screen with Bluetooth. Moving up to the EX brings rear privacy glass, a 12-way-power driver’s seat with 4-way-power lumbar, dual-zone climate control, moonroof, push-button start, heated front seats, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also standard are heated side mirrors, variable wipers, blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, and LED fog lights. More creature comforts can be found in higher trims. The EX-L includes leather seating, a power tailgate, 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The final trim is the Touring, which adds a hands-free tailgate, navigation, LED headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, roof rails, a heated steering wheel, and a wireless charge pad.
